Construction manager

Job Description

This role involves managing personnel, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from development to completion.
• Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and work schedules.
• Manage on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Obtain permits and licenses; ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Resolve issues related to design, materials, or scheduling conflicts.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
• Lead project meetings and maintain thorough documentation of all phases of the project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Atleast 1 year of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully completed construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
