Full-Stack Developer
FULL-STACK DEVELOPER
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Full-stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining websites on both WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify platforms. This role will initially focus on the creation of a new e-commerce website on Shopify, followed by ongoing maintenance and optimization of all our online properties.
Responsibilities:
Shopify Development:
- Design, develop, and launch a new, fully functional e-commerce website on the Shopify platform, including theme customization, app integration, and data migration.
Website Maintenance & Optimization:
- Maintain existing WordPress and WooCommerce websites until Shopify site is up and running
- Perform routine backups, security checks, and plugin/theme updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical glitches promptly.
E-commerce Management:
- Manage product listings, including adding new products, updating descriptions, images, and inventory.
- Implement and adjust product pricing strategies as needed.
- Update and refresh homepage graphics, banners, and promotional content.
- Implement and manage ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) within the e-commerce platforms.
User Experience (UX) & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Continuously analyze website performance and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement A/B tests and other CRO strategies to enhance conversion rates.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility for all websites.
Technical SEO:
- Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on website performance, sales, and key e-commerce metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and e-commerce.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website development with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Extensive experience with WordPress CMS and WooCommerce.
- Demonstrable expertise in Shopify platform development, including theme customization (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and app integration.
- Proficiency in front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Experience with responsive web design principles.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including product management, order fulfillment, payment gateways, and shipping configurations.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other website analytics tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Points (Optional, but a plus):
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) for creating web assets.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
