Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts regularly.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process journal entries and maintain accounting records.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and schedules.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Generate financial reports such as AR/AP aging and account summaries.
  • Handle inquiries related to billing, payments, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide support on ad hoc reports and cross-functional projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with inventory and COGS accounting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience in the furniture industry or wholesale distribution
⭐ Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory platforms
⭐ Background in remote accounting environments

⭐ Understanding of freight, logistics, and landed cost accounting
