Quezon City - Junior Financial Analyst - CPA/CFA

This role is key to supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You’ll help guide strategic decisions by providing clear financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage financial models for budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze claims, underwriting results, and other insurance metrics (e.g., loss ratios, reserve adequacy)
• Prepare monthly to annual financial reports with analysis for management
• Work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams to align financial data
• Monitor key insurance metrics such as combined ratio, policy retention, and expenses
• Assist in regulatory reporting (e.g., IFRS 17 compliance)
• Support business planning, financial forecasts, and new initiatives
• Analyze reinsurance-related financials (premiums, losses, income, and expenses)
• Prepare reports on profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow for reinsurance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• CPA or CFA preferred
• At least 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in insurance
• Strong understanding of nonlife insurance financials and key industry metrics
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Inforsun)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Amenable to work in Mandaluyong or Pasay
