Sr. Project Manager [w/ Banking Exp | Full Onsite]

About the role

This role is strategically important to our organisation, as you will drive project delivery excellence, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and contribute to the successful implementation of technology solutions that have a direct impact on our banking clients' operations.

1. Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies aligned with banking industry requirements and compliance standards
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for banking clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively
4. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions when deviations from the plan occur
5. Manage project resources, including team allocation, vendor management, and coordination across multiple departments
6. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security protocols, and industry best practices throughout all project phases
7. Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project momentum and success
8. Conduct post-project reviews, document lessons learned, and continuously improve project management processes and methodologies
9. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of professional development and excellence

1. Minimum 8+ years of project management experience, with substantial experience managing IT projects in the banking and financial services industry
2. Proven expertise in managing complex, mission-critical projects with multiple stakeholders and regulatory requirements
3. Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile; PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred
4. Strong knowledge of banking systems, financial services operations, and banking security and compliance standards (e.g., BSP regulations, data protection requirements)
5. Demonstrated experience with IT infrastructure projects, system implementations, or digital transformation initiatives in banking environments
6. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across executive, technical, and client-facing levels
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and tight deadlines
8. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms)
9. Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Filipino language skills are advantageous
11. Ability to work full onsite and demonstrate commitment to hands-on project leadership and team collaboration
