- Bachelor's degree in accounting is essential
- 2 years' Australian experience in chartered accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge and proven experience in tax and accounting compliance
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid time management skills and attention to detail
- Experience using cloud-based systems
- Passion for ensuring a high standard of deliverables to clients
- Keen interest in business or taxation law
- Experience working with Xero practice management will be an advantage
- Attend to tax compliance and reporting requirements for clients
- Prepare Individual tax returns, BAS/IAS
- Prepare basic financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and save documents to ensure compliance
- Follow instructions while working independently
- Research and resolve issues associated with client work
- Demonstrate understanding of various entity structures and associated implications
- Support junior and graduate accountants with their learning
