Responsible for collaborating with Storekeeper(s), Finance and Accounting staff to maintain a smooth purchasing operation.
- Project courtesy, hospitality and professional behaviour across your department at all times with guests/clients and fellow colleagues.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers based on purchase requisitions.
- Ensure that all quotations are kept up to date.
- Prepare monthly price comparisons.
- Ensure the quality of goods meet company's and brand standards.
- Monitor that good’s are receive on time at receiving.
- Ensure goods are received on time.
- Keep abreast with new products, which are applicable in the company.
- Maintain updated and organised files.
- Follow up on pending Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.
