Logistics Process Manager (Process Improvement and Data Management)

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing strategic and technical support in optimizing warehouse operations and logistics infrastructure. This role oversees contract management and negotiations with service providers, ensures continuous process improvements, and leads the design and capacity planning of warehouse facilities to meet operational and business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review, evaluate, and monitor logistics-related contracts (e.g., 3PL, warehouse lease, transportation agreements) to ensure alignment with company policies and performance expectations.
• Develop and implement contract management frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with Legal and Procurement teams to ensure contract terms are favorable and risks are mitigated.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of service providers and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

• Lead negotiations with third-party logistics providers, contractors, and suppliers to achieve cost-effective and service-efficient outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities for operational and cost efficiency within warehouse and logistics processes.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Develop and standardize operating procedures, tools, and templates for logistics operations.
• Conduct process audits to ensure adherence to approved standards and policies.

• Develop layout and racking design plans that optimize warehouse space, material flow, and safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new warehouse projects, relocations, or expansions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations in implementing automation, material handling systems, and ergonomic improvements.

• Lead the analysis of inventory growth, throughput, and storage utilization to support capacity planning.
• Recommend infrastructure or operational adjustments to ensure warehouses meet demand efficiently.
• Use modeling tools and data analytics to simulate capacity scenarios and propose solutions to potential bottlenecks.
• Support the development of warehouse masterplans in alignment with business forecasts.

• Partner with Operations, Planning, and IT teams to ensure that technical solutions align with overall supply chain strategies.
• Provide technical input in strategic projects such as network optimization, automation, and digital transformation.
• Mentor and train staff on warehouse design principles, process improvement tools, and technical project management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; Master’s Degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
2. Minimum 3- 5 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain technical support, with 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
3. Certifications (preferred): Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related process improvement / warehouse design certification.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Must be willing to work fully onsite in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig (Mondays to Fridays, 8:30AM to 6:30PM).
