SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support our sales team in delivering high-impact solutions to clients across various industries.

You will serve as the technical bridge between our clients, sales team, and service delivery teams. You’ll work closely with account managers and operations to scope, design, and present IT and Azure cloud solutions that align with the customer’s business needs and technical requirements.

Your work ensures that proposed solutions are feasible, supportable, and deliver real value. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional with MSP experience, strong customer-facing skills, and a knack for translating business challenges into actionable technical designs

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with the sales team to identify client needs and develop customized solutions using our portfolio of managed services and cloud offerings.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, scope-of-work documents, and cost estimates in collaboration with technical and sales staff.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and assessments to identify gaps in a client’s IT
  • Translate complex technical details into business-relevant language for executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager role at an MSP or IT services provider.
  • MSP experience
  • MSP Tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya, IT Glue, and Automate is a major plus)
  • Azure Quotes (Experience in producing Azure quoting, using cost estimators and tools like Nerdio)
  • Pre-Sales Background (Technical sales experience, ability to produce accurate quotes, and support sales team members)
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to scope, size, and price out infrastructure, cloud, and security solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills — both technical and business-oriented.

  • Cybersecurity (Knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus but not a requirement.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, backup/disaster recovery, and common SMB security stacks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
  • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
