Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager (Senior FP&A Manager)

Key Objectives:

• Lead and implement Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) programs and policies.
• Provide financial decision support and cost optimization as a Business Partner to the Business Units.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to local, regional management, and Corporate Finance.
• Contribute to achieving affiliate’s Sales and OP1 targets.

Profile Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Education/Training:
• University degree in Accountancy or Finance-related course
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Preferably with MBA units
• Fluency in English
• Experience/Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles (GAAP, PAS, PFRS, IAS)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in controlling and/or business planning and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based reporting tools
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Lead FP&A programs, prepare and develop financial plans related to internal financial matters, business evaluations, and external economic conditions.
• Research external economic conditions (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates) and assess their impact on business operations.
• Prepare plans for financial evaluation, investment opportunities, and business cases for product innovation or renovation.
• Internal Financial Information & Reporting:
• Analyze and prepare internal financial data such as profit & loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, revenues, and rates of return.
• Report on monthly Performance P&L of the company against budget and rolling forecasts.
• Generate monthly P&L for Business Units and Brands.
• Coordinate monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgeting process with various functional departments.
• Analyze KPI reports, budget variance, and forecast variance to ensure alignment with targets.
• Work with Sales and Marketing teams to review ROI and profitability of trade accounts and channels.
• Financial Analysis & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with Galderma’s internal reporting guidelines and reportorial requirements.
• Review and report Treasury and financing status (working capital, cash flow forecasts).
• Provide cost center reports to ensure functional departments stay within approved budgets.
• Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, risk assessments, and business modeling to provide recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc & Sustainability Reports:
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports and presentation materials.
• Ensure compliance with company’s Health, Safety, and Environment Sustainability policies.
