Payroll Specialist (US Client)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced US Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for US-based employees and clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing payroll-related support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for US employees.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliation schedules.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.
  • Monitor updates in payroll legislation and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in US payroll processing is a strong advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance requirements.
  • Experience using payroll and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
