MACHINE DESIGN ENGINEER - (1)

Job Overview:

Responsible for supporting Tech-Sonic, Inc. USA for all Engineering Drawings, Prototype Designs & Review Designs of newly developed machines.

Duties:

• Ensure that all drawings are kept in the files and provide back-up in order to avoid losing of all files.
• Organize drawing files and ensure that all drawings are updated for any changes.
• Support the innovation of Ultrasonic welding applications as developed by Tech-Sonic, Inc. USA.
• Support the development of procedures and guidelines that are applicable in the assembly of ultrasonic welding machines.
• Provide assistance to Assembly Engineer for any related drawing part issue.
• Support the standardization of installation and commissioning of ultrasonic machines at customer’s site in Asia-Pacific region.
• Discuss with customer for any new applications and requirements of Ultrasonic applications.
• Analyze and develop a system that sought the customer’s requirements.
• Prepare Mechanical design plans, engineering calculations and feasibility study for the projects.
• Review design documentation prepared and ensure correctness and accuracy in accordance with the relevant standards.
• Reports directly to the Mechanical Design Team Leader.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering and related courses
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Support the development of procedures and guidelines that are applicable in the assembly
• Analyze and develop a system that sought the customer’s requirements.
• Review design documentation prepared and ensure correctness and accuracy in accordance with the relevant standards.
