Assists the Senior Interior Design Head to manage the Interior Design Team. Manages the review and evaluation of interior design plans, site implementation and installation progress on-site in line with approved design plan and budget, in order to mitigate any abortive costs and delays in projects due to unplanned changes or incorrect design assumptions.
AOR 1 – Planning and Strategy
Leads an ID team in planning, developing, recommending and implementing key strategies to achieve approved ID completion dates.
AOR 2 – Quality Assurance
Sets ID work standards & guidelines and strictly implements, monitors & inspects work output vis-à-vis shop drawings, technical specifications and other contractual agreements in order to meet project deadlines
AOR 3 – Cost Management
Manages resources through regular & strict monitoring of project timelines and budget; Recommends cost efficiency measures across all construction stages in consultation with consultants, contractors and concerned trades.
AOR 4 – Design Compliance and Value Engineering
Manages the communication and coordination of technical issues and resolves them in consultation with PM, consultant, contractors and affected trades.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, preferably licensed
- 12 years of relevant working experience and 8 years in a management role in fit-out works and/or FFE
- Good comprehension & communication skills in relation to construction and FFE items
