The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely recording, monitoring, and collection of receivables from customers, tenants, or partner accounts. Reporting to the Operations Finance Manager, the role ensures all transactions are properly documented, payments are correctly applied, and outstanding balances are followed up efficiently.

The Accounts Receivable Assistant plays a key role in maintaining the company’s cash flow and customer account integrity while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, and record sales invoices, billing statements, or tenant billings as applicable.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Record and reconcile payments received via cash, check, bank transfer, or other methods.
  • Coordinate with the sales, leasing, or store operations teams regarding discrepancies or billing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of aging reports and collection summaries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reports.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide documentation as needed.
  • Assist in preparing necessary documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off as necessary, in coordination with management.

Qualifications:

  • BS Accountancy graduate
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting, preferably in a retail or multi-branch setup.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and collection practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement:

  • Monday to Friday (On-site)
  • 8am-6:30pm, 9am-7:30pm, or 10am-8:30pm
  • Located in Bagumbayan Libis QC, near Eastwood
