Finance and Tax Specialist

Job Responsibilities: This role is primarily responsible for the fiscal and tax compliance and business support for the Philippines COS business (Z Vape) and Wholesale business (Whatsvape), distributed as follows:

• Tax and Compliance Management (40%)
• Responsible for the preparation and review of tax filing data.
• Drafting tax-related documents and handling communications regarding tax matters.
• Assisting with the establishment, modification, and maintenance of legal entity qualifications.
• Financial Operations and Reporting (30%)
• Performing store cash reconciliations and inventory stocktakes.
• Maintaining contract ledgers; issuing, recording, and processing accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP) vouchers.
• Handling bookkeeping and accounting records for the legal entities.
• Business Support (30%)
• Managing corporate seals and documentation.
• Liaising with relevant internal departments.
• Completing other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university, majoring in Finance, Taxation, or related fields.
• Work Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in finance and taxation.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, capable of using it as a working language (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); fluency in Filipino is also required.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

• Possession of professional accounting or tax-related certifications in the Philippines.
• Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Retail industry.
