Food and Beverage Manager
About the role
Luxent Hotel is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our hospitality team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and operational excellence.As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in driving profitability, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service that define Luxent Hotel's reputation.
What you'll be doing- Supervise and manage all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities and room service operations
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service that exceeds guest expectations and aligns with brand standards
- Develop and implement operational procedures, policies and training programmes for all food and beverage staff
- Monitor inventory levels, food costs and beverage costs to maintain profitability and minimise wastage
- Plan and manage budgets, pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth
- Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate food and beverage team members to foster a culture of excellence and professional development
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and legal requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with food and beverage suppliers
- Coordinate with other departments, including front office and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure they meet operational standards
- Handle guest complaints and feedback relating to food and beverage services with professionalism and care
- Develop new menus, promotions and special events to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proven track record of managing multiple food and beverage outlets simultaneously and achieving financial targets
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary standards
- Excellent understanding of beverage management, including bar operations and wine service
- Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate and develop diverse teams
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with guests and staff at all levels
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and revenue management
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and health and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications (preferred, such as hotel management or culinary certifications)
