About the role

Luxent Hotel is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our hospitality team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and operational excellence.

As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in driving profitability, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service that define Luxent Hotel's reputation.

What you'll be doing
  • Supervise and manage all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities and room service operations
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service that exceeds guest expectations and aligns with brand standards
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, policies and training programmes for all food and beverage staff
  • Monitor inventory levels, food costs and beverage costs to maintain profitability and minimise wastage
  • Plan and manage budgets, pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth
  • Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate food and beverage team members to foster a culture of excellence and professional development
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and legal requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with food and beverage suppliers
  • Coordinate with other departments, including front office and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure they meet operational standards
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback relating to food and beverage services with professionalism and care
  • Develop new menus, promotions and special events to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management within a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Proven track record of managing multiple food and beverage outlets simultaneously and achieving financial targets
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary standards
  • Excellent understanding of beverage management, including bar operations and wine service
  • Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate and develop diverse teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with guests and staff at all levels
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and revenue management
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and health and safety compliance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations
  • Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications (preferred, such as hotel management or culinary certifications)
