IT Business Analyst / IT Project Manager (Business Partner Role)

About the role

This position is essential to ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology initiatives, making you a key contributor to the company's digital transformation and operational excellence.

• Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify organizational needs, pain points and opportunities for technology-driven solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, executives and department heads to understand requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget and schedule constraints
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, business case analyses and recommendations to senior management
• Gather, document and validate business and system requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools
• Participate in the design and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical standards
• Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption of new systems and processes
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure project success, document lessons learned and identify areas for continuous improvement

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT business analysis, IT project management or similar business-focused IT roles
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation through completion, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational strategy, business processes and commercial drivers
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques (e.g., requirements gathering, process mapping, prototyping)
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analyst (CBA) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable
• Experience working in outsourcing, business services or managed services environments is a significant advantage
• Proficiency with project management and business analysis tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
