Audit associate/ officer
About the role
Sunland Development Corp is seeking an experienced Audit Associate/Officer to join our team in Manila City. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in supporting our organisation's rigorous audit processes and procedures.
What you'll be doing- Perform external audits of client accounts and financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvements
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports, working papers, and other documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate information
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Provide support and guidance to junior members of the audit team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in external auditing, preferably with a reputable accounting firm or organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify potential issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Proficient in the use of audit software, spreadsheets, and other relevant technology
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and ensuring compliance with regulations
