Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree graduate or college undergraduate
  • At least 1-2 years of BPO Technical Support Representative (TSR) experience in an Australian telecommunications campaign is highly preferred
  • Background in broadband, telecommunications (US, UK, or Canada), or customer service campaigns
  • Live web chat support experience is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts, theories, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with email platforms, common email clients, and smartphone email configuration
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Perform service qualification checks using advanced web-based applications
  • Troubleshoot internet and voice service issues
  • Apply basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including FTTN/X, FTTP/H, FTTC, FTTB, HFC, Fixed Wireless, Mobile 3G/4G LTE, Home Wireless Broadband, ADSL, PSTN, and VoIP
  • Communicate with customers through inbound calls, outbound calls, chat, and email
  • Assist new customers with internet setup and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Create a strong first impression by delivering professional and customer-focused service
  • Utilize the knowledge base to provide accurate solutions to customer inquiries
  • Respond to customer concerns with timely and accurate information
  • Record customer needs, inquiries, and interactions in the appropriate CRM or tracking system
  • Document customer suggestions and feedback to support service improvements
  • Comply with Australian telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements
