Dermatological ward nurse

Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and skin evaluations prior to treatment.
• Review medical histories and identify contraindications to aesthetic procedures.
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and aftercare instructions.
• Perform aesthetic and dermatologic procedures within scope of practice, including chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, and injectable therapies.
• Assist physicians and dermatologists during advanced cosmetic and dermatologic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatments to ensure safety and comfort.
• Recognize, respond to, and document adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Develop and recommend individualized skincare and treatment plans.
• Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment patient counseling and support.
• Accurately document patient assessments, procedures, outcomes, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and aesthetic products.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, aesthetic physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Stay current with advances in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and evidence-based practice through continuing education.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience and satisfaction.

• Registered Nurse / Licensed Nurse.
• Trained or experienced in aesthetic and dermatologic procedures (chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, etc.).
• Excellent skills in comprehensive patient assessments, skin evaluations, and counseling.
