The Cashier is responsible for overseeing daily cashiering operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilites:
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service to all customers
- Accurately and efficiently operating the cash register, handling cash, credit/debit card payments and other payment methods
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Answering customer queries and providing information about our products and services
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing role
- Strong numerical skills and accuracy in handling cash and reconciling transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, friendly and helpful attitude towards customers
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service
