Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Merchandising is responsible for driving merchandise strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and brand consistency across all Walk EZ Retail Corp. stores. This role oversees merchandise planning, inventory management, visual merchandising, and seasonal product launches while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve business goals.

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage merchandise assortment, allocation, replenishment, and inventory performance.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and market trends to identify opportunities and recommend business actions.
• Lead the execution of seasonal launches, promotions, and visual merchandising initiatives.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
• Partner with Operations, Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Training teams to drive commercial success.
• Monitor key merchandising metrics, including sales, sell-through, stock turn, inventory aging, and product performance.
• Prepare merchandising reports and provide recommendations to improve business results.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Merchandising team to achieve departmental goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance merchandising processes and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, with 2 years in supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail reporting tools.
• Willing to travel for store visits and merchandising audits as needed.
