Finance Operations Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A and Operations Analyst to support financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and business analysis. This role combines hands-on accounting operations with strategic financial planning and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and aging analysis
- Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, approval workflows, and payments
- Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks and related finance platforms
- Resolve discrepancies with customers and vendors and support month-end close activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Calculate and validate sales commissions in accordance with company plans
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Design, build, and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reports
- Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance operations, or FP&A
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Exposure to automation tools and workflow optimisation
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages
- Experience building dashboards and business reporting tools
