About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, relationship-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of active environmental and development projects while also supporting the growth of partnerships and funding pipelines that sustain long-term impact.

This is a highly operational role that goes beyond office-based work. You will be expected to engage directly in communities, government offices, and field sites such as rivers, landfills, and urban settlements. The ideal candidate is practical, resilient, and equally comfortable engaging in grassroots environments and high-level stakeholder discussions.

Key Objectives
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of funded projects and grants, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and full compliance with donor requirements
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, development organizations, and private sector stakeholders
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, grant applications, and funding narratives that expand program reach

Key Responsibilities

Project & Grant Execution
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of projects and grants, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting
  • Ensure all milestones are achieved and properly documented for compliance and impact measurement
  • Coordinate field operations across multiple project sites, working closely with on-ground teams
  • Proactively identify risks and implement practical solutions without delay
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local government units (LGUs), barangay officials, and national agencies (e.g., DENR, DPWH, CENRO)
  • Engage with international development partners and donor organizations (e.g., UN agencies and similar institutions)
  • Support the development of MOAs, stakeholder coordination activities, and alignment meetings
  • Represent the organization in multi-stakeholder forums across government, civil society, and private sector settings
Proposals & Business Development Support
  • Assist in drafting CSR proposals, grant applications, and partnership materials
  • Contribute to concept notes, pitch decks, and funding narratives
  • Support identification of new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
Professional Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management within environmental, development, or social impact sectors
  • Proven experience working with LGUs and/or national government agencies (e.g., DENR, DPWH, or equivalent)
  • Exposure to international development frameworks, donor-funded projects, or multilateral organizations is an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to engage international stakeholders
  • Comfortable with field-based work in urban environmental and community settings
  • Experience in CSR, partnerships, or private-sector collaboration is a plus
  • Strong personal attributes: resilient, grounded, practical, and able to operate under pressure
  • Based in Metro Manila or nearby areas, with willingness to travel as required
What You Will Learn
  • End-to-end management of multi-stakeholder projects involving government, development partners, and private sector actors
  • Donor compliance, grant management, and impact reporting
  • Field operations in urban environmental and waste management contexts
  • Navigation of Philippine government systems and international development ecosystems
  • Development of CSR proposals, partnership strategies, and funding pipelines

Why Join

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, real-world environmental challenges with visible outcomes. You will have direct access to senior leadership, ownership of meaningful projects, and exposure to the intersection of government, civil society, and international development.

The environment is mission-driven, collaborative, and designed to support both professional growth and hands-on learning.
