And because the company cares, we are offering a hybrid work arrangement! The company will also be providing the PC and equipment needed. Although during your first month (or until the HLM approves of the transition), you will be reporting on-site to complete company and/or client-required trainings. With this, the following requirements will be required prior the on-boarding:

• Minimum of 25mbps internet speed (actual bandwidth via speed test) *higher than 25mbps would be required if there will be other people in the household who would be either working from home or heavily using the internet during your shift
• Dedicated space or room with good ventilation for the PC set-up.
• Table that can fit two 24" monitors and a chair, ideally positioned close to the outlet and internet modem
• Work from home location is within NCR.

General Objective:

Linux System Administration, scripting skills, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience. Provides administration and support of Linux systems, automation tools Atlassian products, and cloud services

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of automated processes
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization as required
• Provision and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
• Research, develop, and implement innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
• Provide Tier II support for incidents and requests from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain and contribute to our knowledge base and documentation
• Influence broader technology groups in adopting Cloud technologies, processes, and best practices
• Creative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients
• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or any related degree
• 2+ years of Linux systems administration and configuration experience
• Strong scripting skills – Python / Bash preferred
• 1+ years of AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, IAM and CloudWatch)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions
• Experience with DNS and web server configurations
• Knowledge of automating infrastructure builds utilizing tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Cloud formation
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up to date with current trends

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
