Private Tutor

ABOUT THE ROLE

A private family is seeking a dedicated, patient, and engaging tutor to provide academic support and learning enrichment for school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring based on the children's academic needs.
• Assist with homework, projects, and exam preparation.
• Reinforce learning concepts through interactive and age-appropriate activities.
• Help develop effective study habits, organization, and time management skills.
• Coordinate with parents regarding the children's progress.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Teaching license is an advantage but not required.
• Experience tutoring or teaching elementary children is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, dependable, and able to build rapport with children.
• Excellent command of English
• Willing to work at the family's residence in Makati City.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling multiple grade levels or subjects.
• Familiarity with local or international school curricula is an advantage.
• Can provide references from previous tutoring or teaching engagements.

Compensation:

Competitive compensation package, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
