Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing IT consulting business.
Working closely with the Head of Business Operations (Australia), you will ensure accurate financial processing across transactions, payroll, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, while also supporting project administration in Xero and Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and receivable in Xero, including invoicing, payments, and collections
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process monthly payroll for Australian employees
- Support project financial administration in Salesforce, including tracking revenue and costs
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
- Ensure compliance with Australian GST and payroll tax requirements
- Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
- Experience working with Australian businesses and understanding of Australian accounting and compliance requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work aligned with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)

- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/project systems in a finance context
- Exposure to consulting, project-based, or professional services environments
- Experience working with offshore or international teams
- Familiarity with Australian business practices
- Ability to travel quarterly to our Philippines office in Ozamis City.
