About the role
Coogee International Development Inc. is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in the planning and scheduling of our complex construction projects.As the Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans to ensure the successful delivery of our construction initiatives.
What you'll be doing- Developing and managing detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software
- Coordinating with project teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to key stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts to keep projects on track
- Conducting progress reviews and proposing corrective actions as needed
- Providing planning and scheduling expertise to support the tendering and estimation process
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry
- Proficient in using project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and technology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
