Store Sales Associate (BGC Taguig)

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring overall store operations run smoothly.

1. Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product knowledge on pet accessories (harnesses, leashes, collars, toys, apparel, etc.).
• Recommend suitable products based on pet size, breed, and customer needs.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase basket size.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and basic complaints properly.

1. Store Operations

• Operate POS system and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Issue official receipts and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the store.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.

1. Inventory & Merchandising

• Replenish stocks and ensure proper product display according to brand standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stocks to the Store Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and checking items against delivery receipts.
• Conduct regular inventory counts as scheduled.

1. Visual Merchandising

• Maintain attractive product displays in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure shelves and racks are fully stocked and properly labeled.
• Keep promotional displays updated and organized.

1. Compliance & Team Support

• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Assist in store events, promos, and mall-wide activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Support training of new associates when assigned.

• At least Senior High School graduate; College level preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pet lover preferred.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
