Job Description

The Aluminum Extrusion Machine Operator/Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting aluminum extrusion machines to produce high-quality aluminum profiles that meet company standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Machine Operation:

• Set up and operate aluminum extrusion machines according to production schedules.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Adjust machine parameters as needed to maintain product specifications.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of extruded profiles to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot any defects or issues in the production process.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records of extrusion runs.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on extrusion machines to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and complete more extensive repairs.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.

Communication & Teamwork:

• Work closely with other operators, quality assurance personnel, and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Training & Development:

• Train Filipino workers and new team members on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members operate equipment effectively and safely.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Has a solid and relevant experience as an Operator/Technician in Aluminum Industrial settings.
• Able to operate extrusion industrial machineries that has Chinese systems and instructions.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity; ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring production metrics.
• Can communicate in Chinese language.
