Electrical Design Engineer

ADNOS CET Corporation is seeking for a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems for various building and infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, as well as supporting construction and site activities. The role requires collaboration with other engineering disciplines, use of design software (like AutoCAD and Revit), and regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
What you’ll be doing- Design ELV and electrical systems (e.g., CCTV, fire alarm, lighting, power, telecom)
- Prepare drawings, calculations, equipment schedules, and technical documentation
- Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Use BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) for modeling and clash detection
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and verification of systems
- Ensure designs follow relevant international and local codes and standards
- Contribute to reports, meeting minutes, and project correspondence
- Support project delivery from design to construction and commissioning
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering
- Registered Engineer (EE or ECE) is required
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in electrical and ELV system design
- Proficient in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
- Experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, BMS, fire alarm, and telecom
- Strong background in preparing technical documentation, design reports, and drawings
- Familiar with international and local codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of programming or automation systems is a plus
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines under pressure
