Test Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support our project by leading UI and API automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring test stability, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain the automation framework using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Develop, execute, and stabilize robust UI and end-to-end (E2E) automation test suites.
• Design and implement API automation, including authentication, schema validation, and backend data verification.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize regression test execution.
• Troubleshoot test failures and improve overall test reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Solid experience in API testing and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration.
• Experience in test stabilization and debugging flaky tests
• Okay to work 2x a week onsite
