Position Overview
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and overseeing the overall sales strategy for Geox and Piccadilly across the Philippines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and brand building.The manager will also ensure that both brands achieve their revenue targets while maintaining excellent relationships with partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement nationwide sales strategies aligned with the brand's overall business objectives..
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts and budgets
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Merchandising Departments to create campaigns that support sales goals and drive foot traffic.
- Team Management and Development
- Mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Set clear performance goals, regularly monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
- Lead and manage regional sales managers, area managers, and sales associates to achieve targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop career growth plans for the team.
- Retail Store Operations
- Oversee retail operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and marketing teams to optimize store performance and customer experience.
- Ensure proper inventory management and stock replenishment processes.
- Oversee performance and profitability of all retail stores, ensuring adherence to brand standards
- Regularly review store-level sales reports, customer feedback, and operational challenges.
- Work closely with the retail operations team to enhance in-store experiences, layouts, and visual merchandising.
- Market and Competitor Analysis
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the brands’ presence across the Philippines.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies
- Evaluate potential retail spaces, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns that drive sales.
- Provide insights to the product development and marketing teams based on market feedback.
- Financial Planning and Budget Management
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability.
- Analyze P&L statements for stores and regions to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the implementation of pricing strategies that align with brand positioning and market demand.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.
- Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and manage the profitability of each sales channel.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Track KPIs, including sales growth, conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in retail, lifestyle or footwear, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine retail market, particularly in footwear or fashion.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing a national sales team and multiple retail locations.
