- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Experience in frontend development, such as React or Next.js
- Experience in backend API development, such as Node.js or Python
- Experience in data modeling, indexing, and migrations, such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with JWT and SSO-based authentication or similar
- Experience with file storage integration, such as AWS S3, GCS, or equivalent
- Experience with scheduled jobs or background workers, such as Bull, Celery, SQS, or similar
- Experience with Git or other version control, including branching, pull requests, and clean commit history
- Strong preference for role-based access control experience in multi-role applications
- Strong preference for email notification services experience, such as SendGrid, Postmark, or SES
- Strong preference for SVG or canvas-based data visualization experience
- Strong preference for rich text editing experience, such as Tiptap, Slate, or Quill
- Strong preference for basic DevOps experience, including deployment pipelines and environment separation
- Strong preference for Anthropic API or other AI integration experience
- Nice to have experience with event-driven architecture or message brokers
- Nice to have experience with Docker and containerization
- Nice to have experience with HRIS integrations, such as BambooHR, ADP, or Workday
- Nice to have prior work in HR tech, legal tech, or compliance software
- Nice to have prior full-stack development experience
- Clear and professional written English communication skills
- Passion for a ground-up build and confidence to propose frameworks and solutions
- Ability to flag problems and blockers early
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Strong ownership of work, including bugs and rework
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential HR and legal data
- Stable, long-term orientation for a multi-phase engagement
- Own the full technical build across five phased releases
- Build Phase 1, including the core case system, user roles, document upload, and HR console
- Build Phase 2, including automated workflows, deadline enforcement, and notifications
- Build Phase 3, including the compliance metrics engine, Company Compliance visualization, and management dashboards
- Build Phase 4, including the engagement and compliance health module, quarterly reporting, and executive KPI dashboards
- Build Phase 5, including AI integration powered by the Anthropic API
- Generate investigation reports, risk scoring, and employee letter drafting through AI integration
- Design and implement full-stack architecture from the ground up
- Build a REST API backend with authentication, role-based access control, and scheduled job execution
- Develop a configurable workflow engine that enforces legal process timelines automatically
- Build and maintain a database covering users, cases, events, forms, documents, interviews, and compliance metrics
- Develop the employee web app and HR/Admin console
- Build compliance visualization driven by live backend metrics
- Implement file upload, cloud document storage, and secure storage of sensitive user information
- Implement in-app and email notifications
- Communicate proactively with U.S.-based product leadership in writing and asynchronously
