Job Description

• Reviews design drawings and specifications
• Reviews design intents of the Rockwell Land Corporation design managers, the architectural consultant, and the engineering consultant.
• Reviews construction plans and specifications.
• Conducts site inspections on MPF installations.
• Attends meetings to discuss and resolve design issues, conflicts, and/or concerns.
• Studies and recommends value engineering for improvements based on site inspections.

Reviews requests for approval (RFAs), requests for information (RFIs), and site instructions (SIs).Assists in the validation of claims for change orders.

• Educational Background/ Special Licenses
• A graduate of a five-year Bachelor of Science degree program with concentration in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed Mechanical Engineer
• Technical Competencies:
• One to two years of proven experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing works in different construction projects
• A good working knowledge in all engineering softwares and has the ability to learn new and existing systems in engineering
• The ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people
• Detailed knowledge of past and current mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-proofing technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters
