Workflow Automation Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workflow Automation Designer with a strong background in video editing, post-production operations, and creative content workflows. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and automating end-to-end production processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and content delivery across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate understands both the technical side of workflow automation and the operational realities of video production environments. They will work closely with creative teams, editors, project managers, and business stakeholders to eliminate manual processes, integrate systems, and create scalable automation frameworks.

• Design and implement workflow automations across video production and creative operations.
• Map, analyze, and optimize content production processes from project intake to final delivery.
• Develop automation solutions using platforms such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, Airtable, Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, and similar tools.
• Automate file management, asset organization, approval workflows, publishing schedules, and reporting processes.
• Create integrations between project management systems, cloud storage platforms, CRM systems, and content distribution channels.
• Build automated dashboards and reporting systems to monitor workflow performance and production KPIs.
• Collaborate with video editors and creative teams to identify operational bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop SOPs, workflow documentation, and automation architecture diagrams.
• Ensure automation solutions maintain data integrity, security, and operational reliability.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and continuously improve automation performance.

• 3+ years of experience in workflow automation, process design, operations, or systems implementation.
• 2+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, creative operations, or content production.
• Strong understanding of video production pipelines and post-production workflows.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, or equivalent tools.
• Experience integrating multiple SaaS platforms through APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
• Proficiency with project management platforms including ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, Airtable, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and process-mapping skills.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable automated solutions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Experience supporting agencies, content studios, media companies, or creator businesses.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
• Experience with AI-powered workflow tools and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of database structures, API integrations, and no-code/low-code development environments.
• Experience building content approval, review, and publishing workflows.
• Exposure to CRM, marketing automation, and content management systems.
