Job Description:
Senior Paid Media Buyer (Google & Microsoft Ads)(Bonus: Meta/Facebook Ads)
We’re looking for a highly skilled Paid Media Buyer to own and scale our paid acquisition across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with bonus points if you have experience running Facebook/Meta campaigns.
This role is 80% paid media, 20% SEO.
You’ll be replacing an existing role and taking ownership of high-spend, high-intent B2B campaigns, working closely with our Head of Marketing to drive lower CPL, higher booking rates, and stronger ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Media (Primary – 80%)- Own, manage, and scale Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts end-to-end
- Build and optimise campaigns across:
- Search (core focus)
- Performance Max (where appropriate)
- Remarketing & audience-based strategies
- Advanced keyword strategy:
- Match type management (Exact / Phrase / Broad)
- Negative keyword frameworks
- Search term mining and intent filtering
- Bidding & budget optimisation:
- Manual vs Smart bidding decisions
- CPA / ROAS optimisation
- Budget allocation across brands, regions, and campaigns
- Conversion tracking & measurement:
- Ensure clean tracking (forms, calls, offline conversions)
- Work with internal teams to improve attribution and data quality
- Landing page & CRO collaboration:
- Align ads to landing pages for Quality Score improvement
- Improve conversion rates through messaging, structure, and intent matching
- Performance reporting:
- CPL, CPA, booking rate, close rate, ROI
- Clear insights, not vanity metrics
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce CPL and increase efficiency
- Experience running lead generation or remarketing campaigns
- Ability to test Meta as a supporting or retargeting channel
- Audience strategy, creatives, and funnel alignment
- Support keyword strategy with SEO insights
- Collaborate on SEO-friendly landing pages and content
- Understand how paid and organic can work together (not compete)
- Use SEO tools for research and insight — not as the primary focus of the role
Qualification and requirements:
What We’re Looking For- 7+ years’ experience in paid media / PPC (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads at scale
- Strong understanding of:
- Quality Score optimisation
- Search intent and lead quality
- B2B lead generation
- Confident with data, numbers, and performance accountability
- Comfortable owning results — not just “managing accounts”
- Experience with tools like:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Ads
- Google Analytics / GA4
- Google Tag Manager
- SEMrush / Ahrefs (supporting role)
- Clear communicator who can explain why things work (or don’t)
- Meta / Facebook Ads experience
- Experience working with multiple brands under one business
- Understanding of offline conversion tracking and CRM integration
- Experience optimising for booking rate and sales outcomes, not just leads
- An SEO-first role
- A junior PPC position
- Someone who just follows Google rep recommendations blindly
