Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper to join a dynamic Canadian company and take ownership of their comprehensive financial management. You’ll be working directly with a collaborative leadership team that values your expertise and provides the autonomy to excel in your role.

This position offers the unique opportunity for potential in-person meetings when leadership visits the Philippines, creating stronger working relationships and professional development opportunities. You’ll be managing all aspects of the company’s financial records while working with modern accounting systems and contributing to the continued growth and success of an established business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure smooth cash flow operations
  • Perform accurate bank account reconciliations and maintain pristine financial statement accuracy
  • Record and categorize all financial transactions with meticulous attention to detail
  • Process client and vendor invoicing efficiently to support business operations
  • Handle payroll processing and related administrative tasks
  • Maintain organized, accessible financial records and documentation systems
  • Collaborate directly with leadership on financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
  • QuickBooks certification is mandatory - all candidates must be certified
  • Proven experience with multiple accounting software platforms including Xero and QuickBooks
  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial record keeping
  • Ability to work full-time hours aligned with Mountain Standard Time (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
  • Demonstrated bookkeeping experience with established businesses
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information
