SCHOOL NURSE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Valid PRC license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Preferably with Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid training
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently
• Ability to handle medical emergencies
• At least 1 year experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff
• Maintain students' health records and ensure confidentiality.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Promote health and wellness programs
• Conduct routine health screenings (vision, hearing, weight, height, etc.).
• Monitor and report communicable diseases following DOH protocols.
• Identify and refer students needing further medical evaluation.
• Maintain updated health records of students and staff.
• Submit health reports and statistics to school administrators and health authorities as required.
• Monitor supplies and maintain the school clinic inventory.
• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and local health units on student health matters.
• Participate in school safety and disaster preparedness planning.
• Assist with psychosocial support and mental health awareness initiatives.
