POSITION SUMMARY
Building Engineer provides management of all facility maintenance activities, consisting of periodic maintenance, repair of equipment, support building architectural, HVAC, electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Engineer (Required)
- At least 2 years of work experience as a building engineer or in a similar role (preferably in office buildings)
- Checks and monitors the physical condition, general upkeep; cleanliness of the building, its surroundings, and its facilities.
- Provides direction and training of new engineers/technicians for the familiarization of building operation and maintenance.
- Conducts regular building inspections and prepares reports.
- Ensures facilities are in compliance with company ISO 9001 policies, regulations, and building codes.
- Responds to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues.
