Design Engineer - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical system designs based on client requirements and specifications.
- Perform equipment selection, technical drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD and design software.
- Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, LEED, PMEC, NBC, Fire Code, NFPA, and other standards.
- Contribute to all phases—schematic design, development, documentation, review, and construction support.
- Work with electrical, civil, structural, architectural, and construction teams for integrated designs.
- Provide assistance during construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
- Support project managers in monitoring schedules, resources, and risks.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design for building systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and HVAC design software (Carrier HAP, Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and building mechanical systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail, organizational ability, and teamwork mindset.
