Book Interior Designer | Onsite| Night Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, Book Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, candidates will format interiors for both print and digital platforms. Collaborating closely with our Project Managers, you will ensure that designs align with each author’s vision and meet our production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Format book interiors efficiently, adhering to our style guide and print specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team and incorporate feedback to meet print and digital standards.
- Prepare final files for print, ensuring compatibility with platforms like KDP and IngramSpark.
Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of InDesign tools, including paragraph/character styles, tables of contents, baseline grids, indexing, and footnotes.
- Experience preparing files for both print and digital formats.
- Familiarity with KDP and IngramSpark is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
