FOAMING QA ENGINEER
JOB FUNCTION:
The QA Engineer is incharge of testing and disposition of all foams produced by the foaming department based on quantitative results. The QA Engineer shall initiate the quality improvement chain through close collaboration with the Foaming team.The QA Engineer is an expert on foam utilization and conversion, as well.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Foam Testing and Lab Results Reporting
- Issuance of Official Disposition to Cutting Department
- Samples Checking and Approval
- Archiving of Test Results (soft and hard copies)
- Archiving of Foam Samples
- Initiates VOC Investigation
- Fronts, together with the Manager, during quality discussions with customer.
- Daily Checking of Stock-On-Hand Foam Quality
- Run Monitoring for Physical Defects
- Others: Housekeeping and Safety Monitoring
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and/or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Results driven and action oriented
