As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance Associate to join our team.
Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for performing the detailed QAD activities relevant to the monitoring of the implementation of the quality assurance programs and systems of the company.
He/She also manages QA communications, documents and records ensuring their integrity, security and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Sufficient Quality Management and Food Safety Program
- 1 Conducts inspection and evaluation of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods; interprets and reports the results thereof
- 2 Comply with and implement the hygienic practices (e.g. personal hygiene, equipment, tools, work areas) based on established quality system i.e. 5S, SSOP, GMP, HACCP
- 3 Ensures that all products manufactured comply with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Hazard Control Plan by conducting routine inspections at the assigned areas
- 4 Monitors all assigned processes and performs standard monitoring procedure in the receiving area, during operations, and up to releasing of finished goods
- 5 Counterchecks the cleanliness and condition of finished products and delivery vehicles prior to dispatch
- 6 Verifies the condition, storage, and movement of any non-conforming goods inside the warehouse
- 7 Verifies the correctness of QA-issued documents for dispatch versus the actual products
- 8 Performs daily calibration of equipment necessary in performing assigned tasks
- 9 Prepares periodic status reports on the operations/ activities undertaken in his/her area to his/her superior or management.
- New Product Translation and Process and Product Improvements
- 1 Assists translation run (from experimental run through commercialization) guided by procedures / processes defined by the translation team composed of representatives from client R&D, QAD, and Production
- Perform other job or expertise related assignments in order to develop one’s self and/or share one’s expertise resulting to support for operational efficiency
- Perform other tasks the QA Manager/Officer may require
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Chemical Engineering and other allied fields
- Technical competency required in the area of Food Microbiology/Food Chemistry and sensory evaluation, working/internship background in food plant operation
- Computer Literate
- Good both in written & oral communication; Computer literate; Critical thinker; Innovative; Flexible
- Willing to be assigned in San Pedro, Laguna
