The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field with an Accounting major
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 4-5 years of end-to-end external audit experience, preferably at the Supervisor or Assistant Manager level
• Previous external audit experience in a Big Four or leading international audit firm is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience across the full external audit lifecycle, including audit planning, risk assessment, test of controls, substantive testing, completion, and reporting
• Strong knowledge of the Australian Corporations Act, Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Auditing Standards, and other relevant legislation
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to present audit findings and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements while working independently and collaboratively

• Experience leading audit teams, reviewing work, mentoring junior auditors, and managing client relationships and audit engagements

• Lead multiple end-to-end external audit engagements, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve technical accounting and auditing issues throughout the audit lifecycle
• Present key audit findings, risks, and recommendations to partners and stakeholders
• Review financial statements, audit workpapers, reports, and management opinions for compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit team members while promoting audit methodology and best practices
• Support client relationship management, business development, and firm growth initiatives
• Coordinate engagement staffing, resource planning, and multiple concurrent audit assignments
