Car/Truck Mechanic

About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced Car/Truck Mechanic to join our team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time Car/Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in top working condition to support our operations.

What you'll be doing:

1. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in cars and trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
2. Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and inspections
3. Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work
4. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement ways to improve efficiency and productivity
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Car/Truck Mechanic in the automotive industry
2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
3. Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
4. Thorough knowledge of car and truck systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and brakes
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
