WAREHOUSE IN-CHARGE

Reports to: Supply Chain Officer

Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. The role ensures efficient inventory control, proper storage, and timely dispatch of materials to support construction or production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse staff and oversee day-to-day warehouse activities.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery receipts, sales invoices and or purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Issue materials and tools to project teams or departments as per requisitions.
• Implement and monitor stock control systems to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse space.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site engineers to ensure smooth material flow.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on inventory count, material movement, and stock status.
• Year-end inventory report.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business or any related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations (at least 2 years preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Computer literate.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to occasionally lift and move heavy items.
