FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT (SALES & SERVICE FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE)
Responsibilities- Business Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather, understand, and prioritize Salesforce implementation requirements.
- Facilitation & Prototyping: Conduct workshops to determine business needs, convert them into Salesforce solutions, and then prototype them for feedback.
- Configuration & Enhancement: Optimally configure Salesforce modules using declarative tools like Process Builder, Flows, and Schema Builder.
- Declarative Solutions: Prioritize declarative (non-programmatic) enhancements where they are efficient alternatives to custom code.
- Bridge Between Teams: Serve as a liaison between business and technical units to ensure a synchronized understanding of requirements.
- Insights & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Platform Health & Updates: Contribute to platform stability by considering security and data privacy, and stay updated on Salesforce releases to recommend optimizations.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor, address, and resolve Salesforce production issues.
- Sales & Service Maintenance: Oversee Salesforce CRM functions to ensure accurate order conversions and billing operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback and staying updated on Salesforce trends.
- Testing: Test all enhancements and bug fixes before deploying them to production.
- Platform Certification: Must hold a Salesforce Administrator Certification and a Salesforce Certified Consultant certification.
- Demonstrated experience working as a functional consultant on the Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX and scratch orgs.
- A proven track record of facilitating workshops to elicit requirements and prototype solutions.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM, especially with Lead, Account, Opportunity, and Case Management, as well as Experience Cloud.
- Proficiency in using the Atlassian suite, particularly JIRA and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and use declarative tools on the Salesforce platform, such as Flows, Process Builder, and Schema Builder.
- Experience in troubleshooting and managing Salesforce production incidents.
- An awareness of integration methodologies and tools.
- Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, are also valued
