Junior Backend Developer (Laravel PHP)

You will collaborate with a talented team of developers and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure back-end solutions. Primary Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining back-end services and APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Integrating middleware components to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
• Designing and managing relational and non-relational databases for optimized performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure API functionality meets application requirements.
• Writing clean, efficient, and secure code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Implementing DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, to streamline system deployment and updates.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance and security.
• Maintaining version control for codebases using tools like Git.
• Documenting technical processes, system architecture, and development workflows.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS, and similar programming principles
• Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or PHP (Laravel preferred).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and team collaboration tools.
• Comfortable with Linux based OS/Servers
• Experience with end-to-end integrations

Nice-to-haves:

• Demonstrable experience in unit testing and familiarization on Test Driven Development
• Proficiency in front-end web development basics including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Vue, Angular etc.
• Web servers and some DevOps experience
• Knowledge in setting up a CI/CD pipeline
