Production & operations manager (manufacturing)

Job Description

1. Prepares and plans Monthly Processing Schedule based on standard processing.
2. Prepares weekly production report regarding output and achievement.
3. Prepares reports regarding machine, production problem and quality issues that needs immediate attention.
4. Ensures the deployment of manpower in such that productivity and quality target are met at all times.
5. Monitors implementation of proper housekeeping and safety standards.
6. Conducts performance evaluation of supervised personnel and recommends necessary trainings needed.
7. Reviews manpower requirements for each position. Recommends hiring, firing, transfer and promotion of employees within the department.
8. Imposes company rules and regulations and recommends appropriate disciplinary action.
9. Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned to support departmental and company goals and objectives.

• Proficiency in Japanese Language level 1 (JLPT N1).
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College degree, in Engineering.
• With at least 2 years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing industry.
• With ISO documentation experience.
• Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned to support departmental and company goals and objectives.
• With at least 2 years of Solid experience specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or Equivalent.
